Having more than 3 credit cards?
It is nothing wrong to have more credit cards in hand, but there is a catch there.
As long as you use the credit cards and payoff correctly on time you are fine. You can have as many credit cards you want. It is not a good idea to have the credit cards with you all the time, if you are not a self-controlled person.
Also one important thing is - Do not close any of the cards you have, even if you are not using, unless the Annual Fee is too high. NEVER EVER CLOSE or terminate a CREDIT CARD.
If you close any of them, your credit rating will be affected.
One advantage with the more number of credit cards is: You credit limit will be high:-)

I agree that only a self-controlled person can have many credit cards. It can be an effective tool only in smart hands. With things like credit cards you have to be careful!
